Hot Summer Nights

are certainly here! We''ve had a little AC problem at the Station Inn, and Fan Fair-errr- Music Fest- has brought a lot of swing hungry fans down to our little weekly gig , so the heat has been on. We've had a couple of great subs on bass- Barry Bailes and Darren Theriot, and some pretty cool celebrity sightings- the last couple of weeks have brought in Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Randy Travis and Mel Tillis! Talk about serious talent!

Congratulations to Paul Franklin!

Time Jumper, and winner of the Academy of Country Music's Steel Guitar Player of the Year award!!

Grand Ole Opry!

We'll be back at the Grand Ole Opry Saturday night, May 24th! We'll also be giving a FREE show between Opry spots, at the Opry plaza! Come visit with us!

Big thanks to Peter Cooper at the Nashville Tennessean

for writing an amazing article about the Time Jumpers! We certainly are thrilled!

In case you were wondering....

Yes, that WAS Lynda (Wonder Woman) Carter singing with the band last Monday! Seems that she was in town cutting an album, and had to hear some of that happy swing music! Kudos to Bobby Durham for doing a great job in the bass chair, and how wonderful to have Ranger Doug back!

You should'a been there!

The Opry was a whole lot of fun for us. We got to perform two songs on the TV part of the show, as well as one more backing up our part time Jumper, Vince Gill. Vince even played guitar with us, as Ranger Doug was out traversing America's highways. Then, Vince apparently hadn't got enough, as he joined the band all night Monday! A true highlight was Vince singing a beautiful song he wrote for "Papa" John Hughey. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, and the best part was that Mama Jean Hughey was there to share the moment. Unbelievable.

Monday the 25th

Was another fun night! We missed Rick Vanaugh, who was out sick, but he was ably subbed for by Danny Coots. Ranger Doug was out with some other band, but we enjoyed part time jumper Jerry Krahn in the rhythm guitar chair. A full house was also treated to a performance by the wonderful Sonya Isaacs.

Grand Ole Opry!
